RESIF specialists have realised many projects in the field of reverse engineering, each of which is unique. We decided to introduce you to some interesting orders related to reverse engineering.
Project “3D model”
The customer required a 3D model of the part and a drawing with overall and fit dimensions:

The necessary measurements were made on high-precision equipment:

And then, step by step, starting with the basic elements, a parametric 3D model was built:

Based on the model, a drawing was made indicating the required parameters:

Project “Pump Body”
The gear pump housing is cracked on one side:

Based on this sample, taking into account the deformation after the crack appeared in the wall, a model was constructed:

The specialists also made a drawing indicating all the necessary parameters. At the customer’s request, one of the walls in the model and in the drawing was thickened in order to strengthen the structure:

Project “Cutter Body”
The body of the valve seat lapping cutter was worn out and had to be replaced. It was not possible to find an identical one on the market, so the customer turned to us.

After taking measurements of the housing and analysing the dimensions of the unworn mating parts, a 3D model was built which could be used to write a machining program for the CNC machine.

Project “3D model of the lid”
The customer needed to strengthen the cover structure due to the increased load on this part. He needed a 3D model for preliminary calculations, analysis and simulation in the CAD system.

Project “Unfolding”
To restore obsolete equipment, the customer needed to re-manufacture a bracket-type part. The part was measured and a model was built in a bent state. Using CAD system tools, the model unfolded.

The customer can use this scan for laser cutting and bending operations and can make his own changes and improvements to the design.

As you can see from the examples of completed orders, as a result of reverse engineering work we can offer the customer:
- 3D model or assembly in any standard format;
- drawings in dwg, drw, pdf format, made according to GOST standard.
Construction of models and drawings is carried out in the CAD system PTC Creo.
The order completion time and cost of work are indicated in the commercial proposal after analyzing the sample using photographs or video files.
