RESIF specialists have implemented many projects in the field of reverse engineering, each of which is unique. We decided to introduce you to some interesting orders.
Project “3D model”
A customer needed a 3D model of the part and a drawing with overall and soft chucking sizes.
The necessary measurements were made on the high-precision equipment.
And then step by step, starting with the basic elements the parametric 3D model was built:
According to the model, experts completed the drawing indicating the required parameters.
Project “Pump body”
The gear pump body cracked on one side.
Following this sample, taking into account the deformation after a crack in the wall, a model was built.
And a drawing was made indicating all the necessary parameters. At the request of the customer in the model and in the drawing, one of the walls was thickened in order to reinforce the structure.
Project “Mill body”
The body of mill for grinding of valve seats worn out and there was a question of replacing it. Search of identical mill body on sale was failed, so that the customer turned to us.
After making measurements of the mill body and analyzing the dimensions of the unworn counter parts, a 3D model was built. The obtained model can be used to write a processing program for the CNC machine.
Gearbox for Airsoft (made of silumin) cracked. The customer asked to make a 3D model of two halves of the body to make them later from a more durable material.
Project “3D model of the cover”
There was a need for customer to strengthen the design of the cover due to the increased load on this part. He needed a 3D model for preliminary calculations, analysis and simulation in the CAD system.
The customer had to re-manufacture a sort of part like a bracket to restore outdated equipment. The part was measured and the model was built in the folded state. Using the tools of the CAD system, the model was unfolded.
The customer can use this unfolding for laser cutting and bending operations and can also make his own changes and improvements to the design.
As can be seen from the examples of completed orders, we can offer the customer as a result of reverse engineering

- drawings in dwg, dxf, pdf format, made according to international standards.
Models and drawings production is made in CAD system PTC Creo.
